GENESIS HEARTS MINISTRY STATEMENT OF FAITH 

Genesis hearts ministry is a Christian charitable foundation/organization, with the following statement of faith serving as our foundation. This is aligns with our commitment to our Mission, Vision, and Values as an organization;

The Scriptures: 

We believe the Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments in their entirety, to be the verbally inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original writing, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of the world, and preserved by God throughout the ages to be the Divine and final authority for all faith and life.  (2 Timothy 3:16-17, John 17:17, 2 Peter 1:3)

Salvation:

We believe that God created human beings, male and female, in the image of God.  Their subsequent willful sin resulted in physical and spiritual death and in the necessity of a new birth for salvation. We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His Resurrection provide the only ground for salvation; that salvation is by God’s grace alone, complete and eternal; and that only as one receives this gift of God through personal faith in Jesus Christ is one born of the Holy Spirit and made a child of God. We believe that water baptism and communion are ordinances to be observed by the church during the present age.  (Genesis 1:26-31, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:20, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 1:12, Romans 4:4-5, Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:41; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

Baptism:

We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion in water of a believer, in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, with authority of the local church, to show forth in a solemn and beautiful emblem our faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior, with its effect in our death to sin and resurrection to a new life, that it is prerequisite to the privileges of a church relation and the Lord's Supper; in which the members of the church by the sacred use of bread and wine are to commemorate together the dying love of Christ; preceded always by solemn self-examination.

The Resurrection And Return Of Christ:

We commit ourselves to the historical grammatical interpretation of the Scriptures that verify the literal, bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave. We also affirm that He ascended "to the right hand of the throne of God;" that He alone is our "merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God." (Luke 24:36-42; John 20:24-29). We believe that the Bible is clear that the next event on the prophetic timetable is the Rapture of the saved (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). This is the “Blessed Hope”. We believe the Lord's coming to be imminent. (I Corinthians 15:51-58; John 14:1-4; Titus 2:11-14). We believe in a pre-tribulation Rapture of believers, and a premillennial return of Christ to the earth to establish His Kingdom.

The Creation:

We believe in the Genesis account of creation; that it is to be accepted literally, and not allegorically or figuratively; that man was created directly in God's own image and after His own likeness; that man's creation was not a matter of evolution or evolutionary change of species, or developments through interminable periods of time from lower to higher forms; that all animals and vegetable life were made directly; and that God's established law was that they should bring forth only "after their kind."

* Special creation of the existing space-time universe and all its basic systems and kinds of organisms in the six literal days of the creation week.

* The full historicity and perspicuity of the biblical record of primeval history, including the literal existence of Adam and Eve as the progenitors of all people, the literal fall and resultant divine curse on the creation, the worldwide cataclysmic deluge and the origin of nations and languages at the tower of Babel.

Every Body Can Be Saved:

God commands us to love him with all our heart and soul and strength, and to love our neighbours as ourselves. Therefore we commit ourselves through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit and in joyful obedience: 

                             To make known to all nations the gospel of God’s grace through his forgiveness in Christ, calling people to faith, repentance and discipleship

                          ▪To demonstrate the values and the power of the kingdom of God, participating through suffering in Christ’s triumph over evil.

                            ▪ To serve the needy with compassion, pursue justice and peace, and care for God’s creation.

The Church:

We believe that the Church universal is composed of all persons who have been born again through saving faith in Jesus Christ and have therefore become members of the Body of Christ of which he is the Head. Furthermore, we believe that the local church should be the visible expression and should fulfill the purpose of the Church Universal in the world. (1 Corinthians 12:27, Acts 2:41, 1 Timothy 3:15, Ephesians 1:22, Colossians 1:18)

Friends and family of Genesis Hearts Ministry: this is my story of life: My name is Musinguzi Denis, I am 24 years of age and I live in Uganda 🇺🇬 East Africa. When I was a boy I lost my father in 2016 and remained with my mother and younger sister Faith. After the death of my father the family members chased us away from the house hence ending up in the streets fighting for my life to get shelter, food, medication and education. Even though this all happened I didn’t loose hope and I found a man on the street preaching the Word of God and this softened my heart and mind to put my life in the almighty Lord’s hands, and I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior. 

Being on the street as a child I faced many challenges, selling drugs, beating up people and stealing from them so that I could get money to feed myself, my mother and little sister . One day I was kidnapped by strangers who wanted to sell me. Trafficking children for slavery, sex trade and the black market for internal organs is very big here. Praise God I managed to escape! One of the men who had captured me felt led to let me go. He opened the sack i was being carried in, pointed into the darkness and told me to run that way. I followed in the direction he pointed praying and crying. Eventually i found a road and turned in a direction I thought was the villiage. God is good and I found my way home.

When I grew up I felt God was leading me to change the lives  of street children so that they don’t go through what I went through growing up in a life filled with struggle and fear. I thought that I could  help provide them a home to stay in, feed them, teach them the Word of the God, and could help change their lives as by Gods Grace mine was changed.

That is why I reach out  to you, brothers and sisters, to help and support me towards making a difference in these children’s lives so that they get better and have brighter futures.
